WHAT WE DO

We provides the opportunity to prepare for life

1

Career Development

We stand in the gap to address unique challenges faced by the girl child in Africa. We provide both curriculum and community support by engaging successful females in the industry for impartation on experience, opportunities for education, mentorship, career transitioning and business etiquette.

1

Hackathons

Hackathons teach our girls to think outside the box and create economic solutions that have a positive impact on the community.

1

Mentorship

A holistic approach to work readiness and confidence in the industry.

1

Rural Based Programs

Most of our rural based beneficiaries have limited knowledge on run mobile based computer programs let alone seen or operated a computer. 90% of the girls start using computers when they join colleges/universities, with no or very limited knowledge on how to use it. This brings a very big gap between those who came from big cities and the rural/small towns even in terms of learning and we are here to close that gap.

1

Coding

The rapidly growing tech industry struggles to find the local skills it needs and further exclusion of women contributes to poor representation of female leadership. As the demand for local tech skills is growing, introducing coding at a young age invokes the curiosity they need to create and program.

1

Resume Building

Building a resume is a deliberate task that begins at a young age. When the structure and components of a resume are understood at an early age, girls have a clearer path to focus on and are well guided to achieve their goals.
